Umami CEO Interviewed by Charles Payne on Sirius XM Radio and Fox Business News

Umami CEO Oli Steindorsson was the subject of two interviews conducted by well-known analyst and reporter Charles Payne this week.  On Monday afternoon, Mr. Steindorsson was interviewed by Mr. Payne on his Payne Nation radio show, broadcast on Sirius XM’s America’s Talk Channel.  At the conclusion of the interview, Mr. Payne called Umami “no less than revolutionary.”  The radio interview can be heard online by clicking here or click play below.

On Tuesday afternoon, Mr. Steindorsson appeared on Fox Business News.  Mr. Payne noted that Umami is “changing the way that bluefin tuna is fished and farmed,” and detailed how the company catches fish and grows them in holding pens for up to 42 months.  Mr. Steindorsson noted that Umami is enjoying a significant increase in revenue in the 18 months since the company went public, and has enjoyed a 125% jump in revenue within the past year.  Mr. Steindorsson also stated his belief that open-ocean farming is “the way to go in the future” to meet rising demand for bluefin tuna.  The Fox interview can be viewed online at this link.
